The aim of the Blue Angel for Events is to certify events that offer clear ecological advantages over conventionally organised events. The criteria focus on reducing CO₂ emissions, circular economy aspects like resource efficiency and minimizing waste, but also social aspects.
The webinar on 26 June 2025 presented the criteria for certification, how to use the software to manage the compliance verification and the application process.
