GARDA 2 Plus: The DROOFF ‘Blue Angel’ range continues to grow

With the GARDA 2 Plus, DROOFF presents yet another wood-burning stove that has been awarded the ‘Blue Angel’ eco-label. This certification stands for exceptionally low emissions and the strictest environmental standards. It is testament to modern combustion technology and environmentally friendly heating of the highest standard.

Heating with wood makes an important contribution to environmental and climate protection. DROOFF wood-burning stoves impress with exceptionally low emissions and, even without emission-reduction technologies, fall well below the strict limits of the 1st Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV).  In combination with the intelligent fire+ combustion control, emissions can be reduced by about 30%.

The “Blue Angel” eco-label is awarded exclusively to wood-burning stoves that pass an extremely rigorous test even without an additional particulate filter. Combined with the fire+ combustion control system and the DROOFF catalytic converter, the GARDA 2 Plus easily meets the strict emission limits set by the “Blue Angel”.

The “Blue Angel” eco-label is officially awarded to the GARDA 2 Plus based on a combination of the following three components:

• DROOFF fire+ (electronic combustion control)
• DROOFF catalytic converter
• Integrated OekoTube Inside particle filter

The result: up to 90% less particulate matter and therefore particularly environmentally friendly operation. The smart fire+ Puck remote control, including room temperature control, is available as an option. It enables particularly intuitive operation and ensures an optimal heating environment.

The standout feature of the GARDA 2 Plus, which has been awarded the ‘Blue Angel’ label, is the integrated OekoTube Inside particle separator. Unlike conventional solutions, this is built directly into the stove – completely eliminating the need for complex external installation on the chimney. The separator is integrated at the factory, ready for immediate use and particularly easy to maintain.

In conjunction with the fire+ combustion control system, the status display of the particle separator is also intelligently linked – for maximum user-friendliness and efficiency.
