Low-Emission Thermal Insulation Products and Suspended Ceilings for Indoor Use (DE-UZ 132)
There is an older edition of this Basic Award Criteria.
Applications for these Basic Award Criteria can be submitted from January 2027 onwards!
Blue Angel-labelled low-emission thermal insulation products and suspended ceilings.
The use of thermal insulation products is reducing the energy demand of buildings, while suspend ceilings can improve the indoor sound insulation. The Ecolabel is awarding insulation products which beyond the legal provisions have been produced in a low-pollutant manufacturing process and pose no health hazard in indoor spaces. The basic award criteria request the testing of emissions and optionally the odour of an insulation product. Criteria for climate protection and resource conservation are included in the assessment. Interested persons obtain transparent information about the composition and lifecycle assessment, and, in addition, for the appropriate dismantling of the insulation product at the end of use. Those who choose these insulation products combine energy efficiency and effective sound insulation with a commitment to healthy and resource-efficient construction.
Applications for these basic award criteria can be submitted from January 2027 onwards!
