Products awarded with the Blue Angel emit particularly low levels of pollutants into the living environment and therefore do not affect the health of occupants.

The Blue Angel takes the whole life cycle of a product into account and promotes, above all, the use of wood from sustainable managed forests and low-emission wood-based materials. The Blue Angel also promotes the concept of a circular economy. The requirements for environmental product declarations and the use and procurement of renewable energies enable manufacturers to demonstrate their environmental commitment.
