LIGNOPRO® 840 BSH-Varnish

LIGNOPRO® 840 BSH-Varnish is a water-thinnable mid-coat varnish based on ultra-fine pure acrylate. Compatible with all commercially available types of glue. The coating material has a mild odour, forms a film, is block-resistant and is easy to apply. A long open time allows to be smoothed in the second coat. The product forms a colourless or transparent, semi-glossy film with a medium fullness through which the grain of the wood remains visible. UV protection is achieved either by micronised light-resistant pigments or in the colourless LIGNOPRO® 841 BSH-Varnish UV variant, thus preventing greying of the wood due to lignin degradation. UV protection is only provided with LIGNOPRO® 841 BSH-Varnish UV or with sufficient pigmentation. The varnish regulates moisture by protecting the wood from penetrating water and at the same time leaving it open to diffusion. The coating film is highly weather-resistant but does not flake off. Tested in accordance with DIN EN 71-3 (‘Safety of toys’) and DIN 53160 (‘Resistance to saliva and perspiration’).
