H230 Leonardo® Hydrolasur

Leonardo® Hydrolasur is a water-thinnable acrylic alkyd glaze (alkyd resins based on soya oil and linseed oil). Tested in accordance with DIN EN 71/3 (‘Safety of toys’) and DIN53160 (‘Resistance to saliva and perspiration’). The stain is easy to apply, penetrates deeply, nourishes and revitalises the wood. The product emphasises the grain of the wood and creates a transparent, silky matt colour. Micronised light-resistant pigments provide UV protection and prevent the wood from greying due to lignin degradation. The glaze regulates moisture by protecting the wood from penetrating water and at the same time leaving it open to diffusion. The coating film does not flake off, so renovation coats can be applied without the need for extensive pre-treatment.
