The 2 mm thick underlay protects floating floors (laminate or parquet) 
(laminate or parquet) and reduces footfall and walking noise. The sound transmission in the room below is up to 19 dB (tested with a 7 mm thick laminate). We recommend a 
vapour barrier under the underlay to protect your floor from rising damp. This underlay is not compatible with underfloor heating.
