Katharina Istel vom NABU und Prof. Dr. Mario Schmidt von der Hochschule Pforzheim / Institut für Industrial Ecology (INEC) wurden in der neuen Berufungsperiode wieder als Vorsitz Jury Umweltzeichen gewählt. In dieser Konstellation trafen sich die Mitglieder der Jury Umweltzeichen Ende Juni in der rheinland-pfälzischen Landeshauptstadt Mainz zu ihrer Sommersitzung.

Dessau. “We decided to demonstrate our commitment to environmental protection by certifying our products with the trusted Blue Angel ecolabel. Our UNI 500 and MG 1500 ink series have thus now been certified in accordance with the strict criteria defined by the Blue Angel. By gaining this certification, we want to demonstrate to our customers and their clients that we are keenly aware of our responsibility to future generations.
The aim of the Blue Angel for Events is to certify events that offer clear ecological advantages over conventionally organised events. The criteria focus on reducing CO₂ emissions, circular economy aspects like resource efficiency and minimizing waste, but also social aspects.
The webinar on 26 June 2025 presented the criteria for certification, how to use the software to manage the compliance verification and the application process.
