Emissions from office equipment

The health risks posed by office devices with printing function, such as laser printers, copiers or fax machines, are currently a controversial issue. BAM has developed a test method to determine emissions of e.g. ozone, volatile organic compounds (VOC) or dust from monochrome and colour printers and copiers. Developed as a compliance verification method for the Blue Angel eco-label, this method has now been integrated into an international standard.

The Blue Engel goes to School – Teaching material on product-oriented environmental protection for all grades

Exercise books have been bearing it for decades – now it goes to school itself: The Blue Angel, the classic among eco-labels. Today, it provides students with teaching materials for all grades and school types – from elementary school to the Abitur-school leaving examination. Riddles, question-and-answer games or writing exercises – with the teaching materials “The Blue Angel goes to School” the students learn in a playful and creative way what each individual, no matter what age, can do to actively contribute to environmental protection.

Heating with Wood
