Costs of the Blue Angel / Schedule of Fees
Upon filing the application, RAL - the label-awarding agency - charges a one-time handling fee of 250 Euros (plus 19% German VAT). If the licensee applies for the extension of the right to use the eco-label for products or services entitled to the Blue Angel which are to be marketed under another brand/trade name and/or under another marketing organization the applicant shall pay a handling fee of 150 Euros each (plus VAT) to RAL upon conclusion of each extension contract. Upon conclusion of a Contract on the Use of the Environmental Label the applicant shall pay a graded annual fee to RAL. The amount of such fee depends on the total annual sales of the respective Blue Angel-labelled products or services sales covered by one Basic Award Criteria document.
