Application Filing

The purpose of this site is to explain how to apply for the Blue Angel eco-label for your Product.

As a first step please check whether there exist Blue Angel Basic Award Criteria for your product or service. Take a look at the Existing Basic Award Criteria to check whether there are criteria matching with your product or service.

  1. If you can find existing Blue Angel Basic Award Criteria matching with your product or service these Basic Award Criteria and other documents are available for download for application filing.

  2. Please complete the application documents, including the compliance verifications required (in German or in English). Please send the completed documents as an informal application for use of the Blue Angel eco-label to:

If you cannot assign your product or service to existing Basic Award Criteria please check whether it is on the List of Inspection Orders in Progress.  If not, please file a New Proposal.
